Nyamdulam Yadamsuren, is the first female shotfirer for underground mining, Mining Engineer of Redpath Mongolia / Dayan Contract Mining / LLC.

Underground blasting is a very responsible job that is performed every shift of the mine. Nyamdulam.Ya, a member of the team responsible for this responsible work, she became the first female engineer to have the right to provide blasting "fire" for the company's main underground mining project.

Nyamdulam.Ya: Since 2016, the number of women working in underground mines has been increasing every year since women were able to work in underground mines. It is good to have an employer and a team that always supports us, providing all the necessary conditions and opportunities to increase the participation of women in this traditionally male-dominated sector. As part of Dayan, I am honored to work alongside many people in a world-class mine at a depth of 1,300 meters. I am very happy to be the first female shotfirer for an underground mine. I would like to thank my colleagues, family and trainers for their constant support.
