"DAYAN CONTRACT MINING" LLC (DCM) was established in 2015 as a joint venture between "Redpath Mongolia" LLC and "Hasu Megawatt" LLC. In 2016, DCM was named a major contractor for Oyu Tolgoi’s (OT) underground mining and support services.

Currently at OT, 1,400 employees deliver numerous mine services including lateral development, shaft construction, hoist and headframe equipping, mass excavations, equipment installation and underground construction.

The first shaft for Oyu Tolgoi, located in the Khanbogd soum of Umnugovi province, began in 2005 under Redpath Mongolia's banner, for the sinking and surface construction, and was completed after reaching its final depth of 1385 meters in January 2008. Since this completed shaft, further development work has continued to current day. This includes 1300 meters of lateral development, the ground breaking penetration of Shaft 2 and Shaft 5 and the installation of the world's largest underground Koepe (friction) hoist. Scope of work deliverables were constructed successfully with the help of a subscriber company and with the benefit of its own trained miners. In addition to work at Oyu Tolgoi, the successful completion of the dewatering and rehabilitation works for the underground uranium mine, Gurvanbulag in Dornod province, is a result of DCM expertise.
